DIY Halloween Decor from The Dollar Store


My daughter has a YouTube channel called Kae's Life, and she recorded a DIY tutorial of 4 easy dollar store Halloween decor projects. Each project ranges from $2-$5. It's a fun and cost efficient way to decorate your home with a unique, custom look.

SPOOKY CANDLES (Total cost: $2)

Materials: Paper towel rolls, scissors, hot glue gun, paint, paintbrushes, and tea lights.

WITCH'S SPELL BOOK (Total cost: $3)

Materials: Hardback chapter book, ribbon, spray water bottle, glue stick, scissors, fake spider, display stand, hot glue gun, and printed sheets of the recipes that you can download here.

HALLOWEEN TRAY (Total cost: $5)

Materials: Hot glue gun, small skeleton, round plate, Halloween wine glass, tea light, paint, paintbrushes, and candy.

STACKED SKELETON SKULLS (Total cost: $4)

Materials: 3 skeleton skulls, plunger, paint, paintbrushes, x-acto knife, hot glue gun, tea light.

I'm so proud of my daughter and the awesome Halloween decorations she was able to make on a small budget. She's definitely a mini-me! Haha! I love how our frugal lifestyle is reflecting on her.
